Denver beer lovers may soon have another chance to sample gold-medal winning beers on premises if Wyoming’s Melvin Brewing moves to town.
The Denver Post is reporting that Melvin is negotiating the purchase of a warehouse in the Golden Triangle neighborhood at 1235 Delaware St.
Eric Henderson, a Melvin Brewing spokesman, said the deal for the property remains tentative. But co-founder Jeremy Tofte confirmed the company is looking to open its third brewpub in Denver in spring 2018, the Post reported.
This would be the 2015 small-brew pub brewer of the year’s third brewpub. At this year’s GABF, Melvin won Brewery Group Brewer of the Year and gold medals for: Hupert MPA and Wet Hop Melvin.
