The fist thing that comes to mind when most people in the Colorado Beer community think of the month of October is the Great American Beer Festival, but October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Denver Beer Company is launching a #DrinkPink campaign where every purchase of Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch will help raise money for the cause.
For every pint, can or keg of Princess Yum Yum Raspberry Kolsch and all #drinkpink swag sold across the state of Colorado, Denver Beer Company and Breakthru Beverage Colorado will donate 10% to breast cancer research in Colorado. Money raised will go to American Cancer Society who will allocate the funds to UCHealth Cancer Center for research.
Denver Beer Co. is kicking off the month-long fundraising campaign with an Oct. 1 party at the Olde Town Arvada taproom. The party will feature a big screen TV available to view the Denver Broncos’s game, a pink photo booth, t-shirts, and Princess Yum Yum on tap and available in crowlers and 6-packs to-go.
