Quite frankly, I usually don’t bother with pale ales. I have traditionally been more of a dark beer kind of guy, and I feel like most of the industry tries to capitalize on the popularity of IPA’s by making the most nonsensically bitter thing possible. Having said that, nothing is better in the summer time than a nice crisp, well balanced IPA.
